Westerman has been quietly making a name for himself since he appeared with his attention-grabbing, journeyman debut 'Harvard' back in January. 'Misantropé' followed, and it was clear the first outing was no fluke. Now the 23 year old has revealed the latest cut from his forthcoming EP in the shape of 'Jericho'. With its biblical lyrics and atmospheric, reverberating production, it is another example of the Londoner's classic songwriting prowess that once again recalls the likes of José González, Eaves and C. Duncan, while pulling on his inspirations from Nick Drake and Neil Young. With a sold out support slot for Chelou at the Waiting Room in London 26 April, Westerman is set to continue making a name for himself in 2016. -G.O'B
